Why we cook them
From the Giro to the Olympics – Experience and Tradition

Our History
Our history is not a museum piece. It is proof that consistency, courage and team culture shape real performance over the years. As a UCI team under names like Team UNIQA, Kuota Speed Kueens or Squadra Scappatella, this team has already written strong chapters – with starts on the biggest stage, from the Tour de France (then as "Team Europe") to the Tour of Flanders, and with legends like Jeannie Longo in the jersey. Today, Team Cookina Graz takes this foundation and builds on it: with fresh energy, a clear performance mentality and a team that rides diversity as a strength.

What Makes Us
At Team Cookina Graz, riders with different paths, backgrounds and strengths come together – and that is exactly what makes the team strong. Some come through the youth ranks, others bring their resilience from triathlon or running – united by the same core: determination, fighting spirit and genuine teamwork.
We believe in processes: in smart training, in race intelligence, in the moment when individual power becomes team speed. And we believe in role models who show what is possible: Olympic champion Anna Kiesenhofer rides in the team – not as a figurehead, but as part of a culture where performance and attitude belong together.

Mission Statement
Admission to the cycling performance model is open to all female cyclists who aspire to top performance at least at national level.
Support in the areas of training planning and management, competition preparation and race support, as well as financial support, is focused on athletes in the women's elite category and the female junior categories (juniors, girls) in road cycling. Through this "concentration of forces", athletes have regularly been brought to the international performance elite (Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, World Cup, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, etc.) in the past.
In this sense, it has so far been possible to accompany and support no less than 7 athletes from our team (Anna Kiesenhofer, Christiane Soeder, Bärbel Jungmeier, Monika Schachl, Jeannie Longo, Lada Kozlikova and Edwige Pitel) on their successful path to the Olympic Games.
